Baby Sold on Facebook: Grandfather Kidnaps and Sells Daughter’s Newborn Baby By Jon Campbell , Christian Post Contributor

A baby has been sold on Facebook after being kidnapped by his grandfather and sold from person to person until eventually being placed for sale on the social networking website.

The extraordinary incident has led to the arrest of a businessman in India who attempted to buy the baby through the social media website. The man is reported to have paid 800,000 rupees (approx. $14,750) for the newborn baby.

According to local authorities, grandfather Feroz Khan kidnapped his newly born grandson from the boy’s mother in Ludhiana, Punjab, India.

After the mother gave birth to the boy the grandfather told her that the child had been stillborn. The grandfather is alleged to have sold the baby to a nurse at the hospital, who in turn sold the baby to a lab technician.

The lab technician, Gurpreet Singh, later posted a picture of the young boy when he was three days old on Facebook. Businessman Amit Kumar saw the Facebook post and offered to purchase the newborn.

The baby’s true mother later became suspicious when the grandfather gave her a large sum of money – some of the proceeds he had made from the secret sale of her baby.

When she finally realized what had happened she reported the incident to authorities, and police later arrested Khan, his accomplice, as well as two hospital workers who initially had purchased the baby as well.

Kumar is also set to face charges for his part in the shocking case.

Authorities have said that Khan wanted to sell the baby because he was urgent to arrange a second marriage for his daughter. She had previously been married but the father of her child ran out on her before the birth. The grandfather was worried that he would be unable to find her a new husband if she already had a child.

It is reported that Khan and the two hospital employees could face up to seven years in prison if found guilty.

Middle School Girls Forced to Ask Classmates for ‘Lesbian Kiss’ During Anti-Bullying Presentation by Heather Clark

Imagine 13 and 14-year-old girls being instructed to ask one another for a lesbian kiss in a class exercise.  The girls had no choice. The parents were NOT informed. But hey, if it falls under “anti-bullying,” than who are you to question it, right?

Heather Clark over atreports this alarming development:

Red Hook, New York A recent anti-bullying presentation at a middle school in New York that focused on homosexuality and gender identity has angered parents after their daughters have come home to tell them they were forced to ask another girl for a kiss.

According to reports, the session occurred last week at Linden Avenue Middle School in Red Hook, New York, near Poughkeepsie. A group of students from Bard College led two workshops for the youth, separated by gender.

During the workshop for girls, the 13 and 14-year-olds were told to ask one another for a lesbian kiss. They were also taught words such as “pansexual” and “genderqueer.”

Parent Mandy Coon told reporters that her daughter was very uncomfortable with the exercise.

“She told me, ‘Mom, we all get teased and picked on enough; now I’m going to be called a lesbian because I had to ask another girl if I could kiss her,’” she lamented.

Coon stated that she was especially irate over the matter because parents were given no warning about the presentations, nor an opportunity to opt out. She is also dismayed that college students were granted the right to come into the classroom and encourage her daughter to be sexually active.

“I am furious,” she declared. “I am her parent. Where does anyone get the right to tell her that it’s okay for her to have sex?”

“The school is overstepping its bounds in not notifying parents first and giving us the choice,” another parent remarked. “I thought it was very inappropriate. That kind of instruction is best left up to the parents.”

According to reports, during the workshop for the adolescent boys, the students were counseled to keep a condom in their pocket at all times, and were taught how to identify a woman who is a “slut.”

“I was absolutely furious – really furious,” an anonymous parent told reporter Todd Starnes. “These are just kids. I’m dumbfounded that they found this class was appropriate.”

However, both the school principal and the district superintendent are defending the workshops, and are advising that they will schedule more. Superintendent Paul Finch told the Poughkeepsie Journal that the presentation was “focused on improving culture, relationships, communication and self-perceptions.”

“[We] may require more notification to parents” in the future, he said, contending that the sessions are required under the state Dignity for All Students Act, which prohibits harassment and bullying in the classroom.

He advised that Principal Katie Zahedi and guidance counselors at the school worked with the Bard students to plan the workshops. Zahedi asserts that the sessions were rather about saying no to unwanted advances as opposed to encouraging homosexual acts.

“In planning the discussion, we made it clear that absolutely no discussion of any sexual acts is appropriate to middle school, and they used the examples of a kiss,” she wrote in an online forum for parents. “It was a separate activity for boys and girls and ultimately about respect and safety.”

Mark Primoff, a spokesman for Bard College said that students had volunteered to give the presentation after Zehedi invited the institution of higher learning to participate in the workshops.

However, parents remain livid over the matter. A public meeting was held this week for residents to express their concerns.

It is not known whether girls actually had to kiss one another, or if the exercise stopped at the request.

Welfare recipients take out cash at strip clubs, liquor stores and X-rated shops By KATE BRIQUELET

They’re on the dole — and watching the pole.

Welfare recipients took out cash at bars, liquor stores, X-rated video shops, hookah parlors and even strip clubs — where they presumably spent their taxpayer money on lap dances rather than diapers, a Post investigation found.

A database of 200 million Electronic Benefit Transfer records from January 2011 to July 2012, obtained by The Post through a Freedom of Information request, showed welfare recipients using their EBT cards to make dozens of cash withdrawals at ATMs inside Hank’s Saloon in Brooklyn; the Blue Door Video porn shop in the East Village; The Anchor, a sleek SoHo lounge; the Patriot Saloon in TriBeCa; and Drinks Galore, a liquor distributor in The Bronx.

The state Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA), which oversees the “cash assistance program,” even lists some of these welfare-ready ATMs on its Web site.

DEMS BOTTLE UP WELFARE REFORM BILL THAT WOULD END ‘SINFUL SPENDING’

NYC OFFICIALS WANT TO INVESTIGATE BODEGAS RINGING UP SUSPICIOUSLY HIGH SALES WITH FOOD-STAMP MONEY

EDITORIAL: CARD TRICKS

One EBT machine is stationed inside Club Eleven, an infamous Hunts Point jiggle joint known as much for its violent history as its girls in pink thongs.

Cops have been cracking down on the Bronx club since 2009 and shut it down temporarily in 2010. In July, five men were stabbed and two others shot outside after bouncers broke up a 4 a.m. brawl with pepper spray. The club appeared to be shuttered when The Post visited Thursday.

Club Heat, another Bronx strip club that dispenses EBT cash, is also no stranger to violence. A 33-year-old woman was fatally shot in the head outside the club in December 2011.

Critics blasted the government for turning a blind eye to welfare’s sleazy money.

“This is morally scandalous,” said Michael Tanner, a senior fellow at the Cato Institute. “I have nothing against strip clubs, but that’s not what benefits are for. I don’t blame [recipients]. If you are poor, it’s a crummy life and you want to have a drink or see a naked woman. I blame the people who are in charge of this.”

Welfare recipients receive food stamps and cash assistance under the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program. Both benefits are accessed through an EBT card, but only cash assistance — meant for housing, utilities and household necessities — can be accessed at ATMs.

A single-person household could receive a maximum $200 in monthly food stamps plus $158 in cash assistance. A family of four could get as much as $668 in food stamps and $433 in cash.

The food-stamp program prohibits the purchase of booze, tobacco and lottery tickets with an EBT card. But with the cash-assistance program, users can blow money on strippers or a six-pack and to tap welfare dollars from liquor stores, casinos and adult-oriented establishments.

The Post found dozens of pubs, nightclubs and tobacco shops where welfare dough was dispensed — and presumably spent.

The Boiler Room, a gay dive bar in the East Village, had $120 and $60 transactions a minute apart on Jan. 17, 2011. The bar is around the corner from a Bank of America that takes EBT cards.

West Village tobacco shop Shisha International had EBT transactions ranging from $40 to $180 in 2011. The store is near at least two EBT-friendly ATMs.

Legislative efforts to crack down on sinful spending have fallen short.

State Sen. Tom Libous (R-Binghamton) passed a bill in his chamber in June that would outlaw welfare withdrawals at gambling dens, strip clubs and other venues of vice, but the measure is gathering dust in the Democratic-controlled Assembly.

Libous is looking for a new Assembly sponsor to carry the bill in that house in the upcoming legislative session, after past sponsor George Latimer (D-Rye) was elected to the state Senate.

With only one of the city’s Assembly members, Nicole Malliotakis (R-B’klyn./SI), as a co-sponsor, the bill faces an uphill battle.

The Assembly typically doesn’t support welfare reform, because its more liberal members think the measures “hurt the poor,” Libous said. If the bill remains stalled, the state stands to lose $120 million in federal welfare funding.

The Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act, signed by President Obama last February, requires states to prohibit sinful welfare spending by 2014. If they don’t, they’ll forfeit federal cash.

“The people who are stealing from the program are the ones I want to go after,” Libous said. “Not someone who lost his job or a single mom who has to feed her kids. That’s what this program is supposed to be for.”

A spokesman with the US Department of Health and Human Services said states make their own rules on EBT cards.

Some states already limit where EBT cards can withdraw money.

A rep from OTDA, New York’s welfare office, said the state does not choose or regulate which retailers get ATMs that handle EBTs. Instead, retailers decide whether to use an ATM that accepts welfare cards.

The normalization of Pedophilia By: Timothy Whiteman

The reality of pedophilia.

“NAMBLA [North American Man-Boy Love Association] members must be grinning ear-to-ear…”

Wesley J. Smith of the National Review Online (NRO) has fired back at reporter Jon Henley of Great Britain’s The Guardian in what Smith refers to as Henley’s call for “normalizing pedophilia,” as Smith wrote in the NRO Jan. 5, 2013.

The template for everything liberal, London’s The Guardian newspaper recently published an article entitled “Paedophilia: Bringing Dark Desires Into the Light,” in which Henley wrote such provocative arguments in favor of pedophilia to include:

Paedophiles may be wired differently.

This is radical stuff.

But there is a growing conviction, notably in Canada, that paedophilia should probably be classified as a distinct sexual orientation, like heterosexuality or homosexuality.”

Not quite done yet, Henley cites as further evidence of the normality of having sexual intercourse with a pre-pubescent child:

“Two eminent researchers testified to that effect to a Canadian parliamentary commission last year, and the Harvard Mental Health Letter of July 2010 stated baldly that paedophilia ‘is a sexual orientation’ and therefore ‘unlikely to change’.”

Henley also cites an alleged leading sexuality authority, Sarah Goode, a senior lecturer at the University of Winchester (UK), who stated:

“There are a lot of people who say: we outlawed homosexuality, and we were wrong.

Perhaps we’re wrong about paedophilia.”

Smith’s sharp refutation of The Guardian’s ace reporter included his pointedly opining to Henley stating pedophilia is a “sexual orientation” and that pedophiles are “unlikely to change”:

“This isn’t news.

We already know that those who abuse children sexually are always dangerous.”

Perhaps Smith’s most poignant point was his reference to the eventual widespread acceptance of incest in Western culture:

“If the desire for sexual congress with children is just ‘another orientation’–an odious comparison, in my view–and if some children supposedly ‘like it’ when they voluntarily engage in sex with adults–and indeed, if it doesn’t actually hurt them–how long would the absolute rejection of cross-generation congress last?

Not very.

It wouldn’t be long until we saw the absolute prohibition on pedophilic sex downgraded to a mere ‘taboo,’ which, as the last fifty years teach us, are made to be broken.

NAMBLA [North American Man-Boy Love Association] members must be grinning ear-to-ear”

Smith closes his article with what many have already known to ring true for centuries:

“Having sexual relations with children treats them as mere objects, a good definition of evil.

If this view ever enters the mainstream–and that seems closer–we are on the road to cultural death.”
